Lcdo. Roberto X. Busó Griggs is an Associate in the McConnell Valdés Environmental and Land Use Practice Group.
Practice and Experience
Lcdo. Busó has worked extensively on the environmental, land use, and natural resource issues particular to the varying stages of tourist and residential developments, industrial and commercial establishments and expansions, and the environmental implications of business transactions. His practice areas include permitting, regulatory compliance, and administrative and civil advocacy.
Experience
Before joining McV Lcdo. Busó worked as an intern with the Environmental Protection Agency's Region 1 Headquarters. During law school he worked with the Centre for International Sustainable Development Law, where he focused on translating research towards advancing the understanding of human rights and poverty. Prior to that he worked for the Tuftonboro Conservation Commission in New Hampshire, through an alliance with the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension.
Education
Lcdo. Busó earned a Masters in Studies in Environmental Law, Cum Laude, while concurrently working towards a Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Conservation, with a focus on Environmental Affairs, from the University of New Hampshire in May 2004. Lcdo. Busó has also studied at Humboldt State University in Northern California, and the University of Puerto Rico.

Mr. Busó maintains active memberships in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
