Robert Williams, C.P., is a senior vice president and general manager of Sanborn's St. Louis office, where he oversees the sales and marketing efforts and the technical operations of the Missouri mapping facility.

With over 20 years in the industry, Mr. Williams has a strong background in CADD and GIS technologies and broad expertise in database design for photogrammetric base mapping and parcel and facility mapping. A certified photogrammetrist and an expert in project planning and management, Mr. Williams has extensive experience developing the most efficient and responsive approach to mapping projects, offering the best options, methodologies, and technologies available to minimize cost and maximize benefits.

Prior to joining Sanborn, Mr. Williams was president and co-owner of Walker Associates, a photogrammetric mapping firm founded in 1979. Sanborn acquired Walker Associates in 1999.

A member of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS), the American Public Works Association (APWA), and the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA), Williams attended Southwest Missouri State University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in cartography and mapping.
