Robert Wann has been Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of New York Community Bancorp, Inc. and its primary subsidiary, New York Community Bank, since October 31, 2003, having previously held the titles of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (from January 2002) and Senior Vice President, Comptroller, and Chief Financial officer (from 1991). In addition, Mr. Wann serves as a Director of the Bank’s real estate subsidiaries. Mr. Wann joined the Bank as a staff accountant in 1982 following his graduation from Queens College with a degree in Accounting.
A member of numerous community organizations, Mr. Wann serves on the advisory board of Queens College, and is a past president of the Flushing Central Lions Club. |
