Robert Romasco, M.B.A., of Bryn Mawr, PA, is a member of the AARP Board of Directors, Class of 2012. During the 2006-2008 biennium, Mr. Romasco is a member of the AARP Board Audit and Finance Committee and the Governance Review Committee. He also serves on AARP's Pension Plan Review Committee.
Mr. Romasco has extensive experience in corporate operations and financial management as well as experience in legislative and governmental strategies. His employment experience includes service as senior vice president of customer, distribution, and new business development at the Quality Value Convenience (QVC) television network.
Prior to that, Mr. Romasco was executive vice president and chief marketing officer of CIGNA Health Care Systems, president/CEO of J.C. Penney Direct Marketing Services for J.C. Penney Life, and senior vice president for American Century Investments.
As a volunteer, Mr. Romasco formerly served on the board of trustees for the AARP Andrus Foundation, and has served in numerous church positions including on the outreach council of the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church and as chair of the Board of Deacons of the Second Congregational Church in Boxford, Massachusetts. |
