Bob Peterson, Director of Research, is a product development executive with over 20 years in the biopharmaceutical and medical implants industries. Prior to joining Symphony Medical, for eight years, Bob was Director of Biopharmaceutical Drug Development for Biostratum, Inc., where he oversaw the development of therapeutic antibodies and recombinant proteins with applications in oncology, angiogenesis, tissue engineering, and cell therapies. He managed key collaboration programs with major academic research centers and international corporate partners. Before Biostratum, Bob was a Director of R&D at Baxter International´s CardioVascular Group (now Edwards Lifesciences). At Baxter, Bob spearheaded from concept to market release the development of endovascular grafts for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms as well as a line of ePTFE grafts for vascular and coronary applications. Prior to entering the medical industry, Bob was a Lieutenant of the United States Army.
