Robert Metz began his business career with Consumer Source, Inc. (CSI) in 1975 when it consisted of one small publication with revenues of $3,500 per month. In the last 25 years with CSI, he has served in various positions ranging from publisher to chief financial officer, chief operating officer, president and chairman of the board. During that time, the company has been sold twice, in 1989 to Dillon, Read & Co., and in 1994 to PRIMEDIA, its current owner. Metz remained as CEO after each sale and has guided the company to its current budget of over $300 million in revenues. Metz was vice president of the successful Sportdiver Magazine which focused on the SCUBA and underwater diving industry, and was president of Southern Homes Magazine, the award-winning Atlanta-based consumer homes and decorating magazine. Metz has a degree in business from the University of Michigan. |
