Dr. Lustig is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania Cancer Center. Dr. Lustig has also served as clinical director of Radiation Oncology at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center and as clinical associate professor of radiation oncology at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Camden, NJ. At Cooper, Dr. Lustig served as the principal investigator on a variety of clinical trials involving systemic radiation and photodynamic therapy treatments. Dr. Lustig received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in 1969 and completed his medical internship and residency training at Metropolitan Hospital in New York. He later served as a Medical Officer in the Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Virginia. Following his term as a Medical Officer, he returned to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he completed a residency in Radiation Oncology and subsequently was named a Fellow of the American College of Radiology. Dr. Lustig holds memberships in numerous professional organizations and has published scores of journal articles that address quality control and the development of clinical trials. |
