Mr. Kaufmann is a Shareholder and co-chair of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Real Estate Group. He works in the firm’s Denver office. His practice focuses on the acquisition, development, leasing and management of office buildings, shopping centers and industrial projects; and the formation, merger and dissolution of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. Mr. Kaufmann has represented several high-end real estate developers in complex transactions, including the redevelopment of the Southglenn Mall in Centennial, Colorado; the acquisition, financing, leasing and disposition of shopping centers and office buildings throughout the United States; and the acquisition of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. Mr. Kaufmann has been practicing at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck since graduating from law school in 1990. He has been a shareholder since 1997. A graduate of the Leadership Denver Program of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Kaufmann has also chaired many fund-raising events for local charitable organizations and for national and local political campaigns. |
