Robert "Bob" Hansen has been on the Golden West Board of Directors since October of 1989 and currently serves as president of Golden West Technologies. He and his wife LaVonne own and operate the Howes Store and Post Office. Bob, who was born and raised 25 miles north of Philip on a farm/ranch operation, graduated from Philip High School in 1961 and served in the Army from 1966 to 1968. He was manager of the Howes Grazing Association from 1968 to 1977 before leaving to purchase the Howes Store and Post Office. Bob served on the school board in Haakan County for six years and as a supervisor and director of the Howard Township for 30 years. He also served on the North Central Data Cooperative board. The Hansens have two grown children, a daughter Angela and a son Todd. |
