Robert "Bob" Fronek was first elected to the Golden West Board of Directors in May of 1978 and prior to that, served as a director of the Wood Community Telephone Company. Bob currently serves as vice president of Golden West Technologies. Bob and his wife Mary have been farming and ranching all of their lives in the Wood area and have three grown children; two sons, Jerry and Lyndon, who also farm in the Wood area and one daughter, Kay, who works for the ASCS office in White River. The Froneks also have one grandchild. Bob's community service includes more than 30 years as Mellette County Soil Conservation District Supervisor. He has also served as a brand inspector and member of the South Dakota Stockgrowers Association since 1977. |
