Robert L. Diamond served as Chairman of the Board of CIDCO Incorporated, a manufacturing company of telecommunication products that he co-founded. He is the holder of a Caller ID engineering patent and, in 1996, was the recipient of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Prior to CIDCO, Mr. Diamond was President of Robert Diamond Inc., an engineering consulting and manufacturer's representative firm he founded in 1971. He was previously Director of Marketing for North American Philips' Broadcast T.V. Division and Senior Engineer at Philco Research. He holds a BSEE from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute and graduated with high honors. He also holds a Doctor of Engineering honorary degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. |
