With over a decade of experience in the technical services industry, Robert brings a wealth of knowledge and background to his role as Accipiter's vice president of technical operations. He is responsible for proposing and managing projects that will enhance Accipiter's AdManager Hosted product to make it more robust, professional, and fault tolerant and promoting best practices in services delivered to our customers. Additionally, Robert manages customer projects that may be lengthy or require technical resources, including scripts that need to be written to deliver data to customers or particularly difficult issues that require in-depth analysis. While at Engage, Inc., Robert led the company's customer service efforts, logging hundreds of hours working with Engage's customer base and gaining a thorough understanding of their needs. He has over ten years of experience within the technical services industry, and has led projects as both an engineer and manager. Robert's background includes work on the designing of various types of Web-enabled software solutions, the management and coordination of entire teams of engineers, and overseeing customer satisfaction in regards to AdManager.
In addition to his management and development background, Robert is also a well-regarded author of several books related to Internet technologies, including The PHP Developers Dictionary (published December 2000) and Instant PHP4 (November 2001). The content in these publications displayed the breadth of Robert's knowledge pertaining to technologies such as PHP, XML, NNTP and others - knowledge that he applies on a daily basis, ensuring that Accipiter continues to generate top-line online advertising technology for its customers around the world.
Previously, Robert was a consultant for Metamor Worldwide, as well as a software engineer at Novell, Inc. He has a BS in Electronics Engineering Technology from Brigham Young University. |
