Robert E. Bulmer is founder and president of Alaska Executive Search, Inc. He is from a second-generation Alaska business family. His family was involved in the Alaska fishing industry for a total of fifty-five years. Mr. Bulmer has served on numerous boards and commissions throughout the State of Alaska. He is the founding Chairman of the Alaska Community Foundation. During his tenure with Governor Hickel's administration, Mr. Bulmer served as Chief of Operations for the Governor's office and then as Strategic Plan Coordinator, Department of Commerce and Economic Development.
