Bob has over 25 years of experience working with pharmaceutical, biotech and life science companies. His experience includes positions as CFO and senior financial management positions at several successful start-up companies, including Invivodata, Chingari Software, LJL BioSystems and Sequoia-Turner, as well as larger companies such as Tandem Computers, Siemens and Searle Pharmaceuticals. During his time at Invivodata, he served as CFO over a period of rapid growth during which the company established itself as a leader in clinical trial design services and software solutions for collection of patient self-report data in clinical trials. At LJL BioSystems (a leading manufacturer of high throughput screening instrumentation and consumables used for drug discovery and genomics research) he served as Vice President, Finance and Administration during which time the company experienced significant growth and completed a successful IPO. Bob's background also includes mergers and acquisitions work, operational management responsibility and substantial experience in helping guide rapid growth, high-technology companies through the start-up stage. Bob holds an MBA with a concentration in Operations Research from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a B.S. in Business Administration from Nichols College. |
