Robert (Bob) W. Van Kirk, former senior tax partner, is now of counsel in the Tax Practice Group of McConnell Valdes.
Practice and Experience
Mr. Van Kirk concentrates principally in tax, tax exemption and related corporate areas. He has served as advisor on tax and tax exemption matters to many government agencies and commissions.
Education
Mr. Van Kirk graduated from St. Lawrence University in 1952 and received his Bachelor in Law Degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1959. He received a Master in Laws in Taxation from NYU in 1960. At Georgetown he was a Member of the Board of Editors of the Georgetown Law Review, and won a Teaching Fellowship at New York University School of Law.
Admissions
He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, New York and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Van Kirk is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association, the New York Bar Association. He is also a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation
