Robert W. Rieder is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Cardiome Pharma Corp. (NASDAQ: CRME). Mr. Rieder has had a successful and extensive career in venture capital and in operational management. Prior to joining Cardiome, Mr. Rieder was vice-president at MDS Ventures Pacific Inc., an affiliate of MDS Capital Corp., and has served as a director for multiple public and private technology companies. Mr. Rieder received his MBA from the University of Western Ontario. On March 30, 2007, the Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee nominated Mr. Rieder to stand for election to the Board of Directors and Mr. Rieder consented to the nomination. |
