Mr. Keith has more than 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry and management consulting, ranging from specialty pharmaceutical to multinational pharmaceutical companies. In 2003, Mr. Keith joined Verus Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a privately-held specialty pharmaceutical company dedicated to developing and commercializing solutions to address the unmet medical needs of children, and currently serves as the President & Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Verus, Mr. Keith was a Partner at Advantage Management Solutions, LLC, a commercial strategy and operations consulting firm for life sciences companies. From 1996 to 2001, Mr. Keith was a member of the senior management team at Dura Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Elan Corporation, plc, where he served as a Vice President and Officer. At Dura, he was a key member of the team that built and grew three different commercial businesses, provided commercialization guidance for the Spiros® pipeline and negotiated a multi-year alliance agreement with Allergan, Inc. At Elan, he worked on post-merger commercial strategy and organizational integration activities. Prior to Dura, Mr. Keith was an executive for Abbott Laboratories and a management consultant. Mr. Keith earned his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, his M.C.P. from the University of Pennsylvania and his B.A. from The George Washington University. |
