Robert T. Coulson is the senior executive account manager (SEAM) for the Department of Transportation (DOT), Government Communications Systems (GCS). In this capacity, he reports to the vice president of Strategic Management and Business Development. In his previous role, Mr. Coulson was senior business development manager for Harris Corporation’s Government Communications Systems Division Civil Business Unit. Mr. Coulson has been with Harris since 1994 and has served in a variety of program management and business development positions directly related to CNS/ATM. Before joining Harris, Mr. Coulson spent nine years with the Martin Marietta Corporation as program manager and senior staff engineer in assignments in air traffic control support and communications. Before entering civilian industry, Mr. Coulson spent 22 years as a commissioned officer in the United States Army Signal Corps. His military decorations include the Legion of Merit and the Bronze Star Medal. Mr. Coulson holds a bachelor of science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a master of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arizona in Tucson.
