ROBERT T. COPELAND was born in Norfolk, Virginia on June 13, 1947. He received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Virginia in 1969. He received his Juris Doctor in 1975 from Marshall-Wythe School of Law, College of William & Mary. Mr. Copeland was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 1975. He is the author of "Chapter on Contracts," published by Michies Law of Laymen in Virginia in 1977. In addition to his current trial practice, Mr. Copeland has been Chairman of the Virginia Public School Authority since 1994 and is a member of the Washington County Bar Association where he served as President from 1987 to 1988. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Mr. Copeland specializes in bankruptcy law and commercial law. |
