Robert S. Hansen is a Senior Associate focused on U.S. venture and growth capital investments in the technology and business services sectors. He is based in San Francisco.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Hansen was an Associate with MSD Capital, a private investment firm which exclusively manages the capital of Michael Dell. He focused on investments in semiconductor, storage and technical software companies. Prior to MSD Capital, he was in investment banking at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Mr. Hansen also worked in marketing at Azul Systems, a privately-held technology company specializing in datacenter infrastructure for J2EE applications.
Mr. Hansen received his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He holds a B.S. in electrical engineering, magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University. |
