Robert S. Underhill is responsible for managing all activities of the Capital Transaction Group of privately held Shorenstein Properties, an owner and operator of high-quality office properties on a national basis. Prior to joining Shorenstein in 2002, Underhill was a principal at Lazard Freres Real Estate Investors where he was part of a management team that was brought in to manage and restructure investments in their fund portfolios. Prior to Lazard Freres, Underhill worked for over 17 years in real estate investment and operations with LaSalle Partners and Security Capital Group. Underhill is a full member of the Urban Land Institute, a member of The Real Estate Roundtable’s Real Estate Capital Policy Advisory Committee, a Trustee of Sarah Lawrence College, and a Trustee of the Village of Bronxville, New York. He graduated from Colby College with a B.A., and from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University with an M.B.A. |
