Mr. Melzer was President and Chief Executive Officer of Property Capital Trust a real estate investment trust from 1992 to 1999 when he retired. Through November 1996 he was also the Chief Financial Officer of Property Capital Trust. Mr. Melzer serves as a trustee of MGI Properties Liquidating Trust and a director of Beacon Capital Partners Inc. The Cronos Group and Lawson Products Inc.
