Robert Leonard is a partner of the firm and is a member of the Commercial Litigation Practice Group. His practice includes general business litigation, employment litigation, intellectual property litigation and products liability defense.
The cases he has handled in the employment area include race, sex and age discrimination, wrongful termination, hostile work environment and sexual harassment. He has counseled corporate clients through numerous investigations of allegedly improper conduct in the workplace. In the intellectual property area, he has handled, for both plaintiffs and defendants, cases involving allegations of unfair competition, Lanham Act violations, trade secrets and employee piracy, copyright and trademark infringement and licensing issues.
Mr. Leonard is a certified civil trial attorney of the State of New Jersey. The designation "certified trial attorney" is granted to attorneys who are able to demonstrate sufficient levels of experience, education, knowledge and skill in their practice area. Mr. Leonard is trial certified in the area of civil trial practice. The designation is awarded to only two to three percent of lawyers in New Jersey.
In General. Mr. Leonard has been with Drinker Biddle since 1985. Prior to that he was associated with a large Wall Street law firm. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and its Civil Practice and Product Liability Committees, the American Bar Association, the Morris County Bar Association and the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey. |
