Dr. Robert M. O'Hallaren was born in Pendleton, Oregon in 1951. Raised in Southern California, his family settled in Ojai where he graduated from Nordhoff H.S. in 1969. Dr. O'Hollaren earned his undergraduate degree in Zoology from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1973. He attended the University of Southern California School of Medicine and graduated with the Doctor of Medicine degree in 1977. Post-graduate training included a surgical internship and orthopedic surgery residency program at the University of California Irvine Medical Center which was concluded in 1982. He entered private practice in orthopedic surgery with the Ventura Orthopedic and Sportsmedical Group in 1982 and has been practicing in Ventura since that time. Dr. O'Hollaren is board certified in his specialty by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is an active fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He has been Chief Financial Officer of his twelve-man practice for ten years and was a principal in the development of several ancillary medical service businesses including a physical therapy center, outpatient surgery center, and medical office building partnership. He lives in Ventura with his wife and two sons. |
