Mr. McGill is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation Department. His practice includes all areas and phases of civil litigation, including complex business, construction, probate, and real estate disputes.
Mr. McGill earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Political Science and a concentration in International Affairs, cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1997. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Boston College Law School in 2005. During law school, Mr. McGill studied European antitrust/competition law at King’s College School of Law, University of London, UK. He was a member of Boston College Law School’s National Mock Trial and European Law Moot Court Teams, and received the Frederick N. Halstrom Award for Outstanding Work in Oral Advocacy. In the spring of 2005, he was invited to Madrid, Spain to argue as a Regional Finalist for the European Court of Justice’s annual European Law Moot Court Competition.
Prior to joining Sherin and Lodgen LLP, Mr. McGill served as a judicial law clerk to the Justices of the Superior Court of Massachusetts. Before attending law school, he worked as a legislative analyst at the Massachusetts State House and in the development office of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Mr. McGill is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association and the American Bar Association. |
