Mr. Martinson joined Blue29 in November 2005 to lead the development and execution of the company’s product engineering objectives. He brings 11 years of experience in all aspects of engineering, manufacturability, and management of PVD and CVD systems.
Previously, Mr. Martinson lead engineering teams at Novellus Systems, Inc., handling automation, systems, cost-reduction and manufacturability of 200mm and 300mm PVD and 200mm CVD TiN module projects. Before that, he held engineering management positions at SKE Technology Corporation and was a mechanical engineer at Varian Associates/Novellus Systems Inc.
Mr. Martinson was awarded a B.S. in mechanical engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Louis Obispo. He holds seven patents (one pending) in PVD coating applications and vacuum system automation in PVD semiconductor wafer processing.
