Mr. Hernandez has been Chairman of the Board of RTI International Metals Inc. since 1990 and was Vice Chairman of the Board and Chief Financial Officer of USX Corporation from 1994 until his retirement in 2001. He joined U.S. Steel Corporation the predecessor of USX in 1968 and held positions of increasing responsibility in the financial and operating organizations including Vice President and Treasurer from 1984 to 1987 Senior Vice President and Controller from 1987 to 1989 President U.S. Diversified Group from 1989 to 1990 Senior Vice President Finance from 1990 to 1991 and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Offier from 1991 to 1994. RTI a NYSE listed company is a leading U.S. producer of titanium mill products and fabricated-metal parts for the global market and was affiliated with USX prior to 2000. Mr. Hernandez is also Lead Director of American Casualty Excess (ACE) Ltd. Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of BlackRock Mutual Funds and a member of the Board of Directors of Tyco Electronics Ltd.
