Robert L. Matejka joined RPM in August 2000 as vice president and controller and was subsequently elected chief financial officer in October 2001. In this position, he directs and oversees all financial operations of the corporation including corporate accounting, financial reporting, global tax administration, internal audit and investor relations.
Before joining RPM, Mr. Matejka accumulated 35 years of broad experience in accounting and finance with Rockwell International Corporation, Reliance Electric Company and Ernst & Young. Immediately prior to joining RPM, he was vice president - finance for Rockwell's Motor & Drives Systems businesses.
Mr. Matejka received his bachelor's degree from Cleveland State University and is a non-active certified public accountant in the state of Ohio. He serves as vice chairman of the board of trustees at Benedictine High School. Mr. Matejka is affiliated with Financial Executives International. His past affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the allocations committee for the Cleveland office of the United Way Services.
