Bob Bailey is the president, chairman and chief executive officer of PMC-Sierra, a leading provider of broadband communication and storage semiconductor solutions for the next-generation Internet. He has served PMC-Sierra as president and CEO since 1997 and has been chairman of the board since 2005 after also serving as chairman from 2000 through 2003. Previously, he served as vice president and general manager at AT&T-Microelectronics from 1989 to 1993 and in management at Texas Instruments from 1979 to 1989. He has also served on the boards of Copper Mountain Networks and Crystal Decisions.
Mr. Bailey holds a bachelor’s of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut and an MBA from the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas. |
