Mr. Svatos is responsible for overseeing the accounting and management information services of ConAm’s property management operation, which provides centralized banking, accounts payable, and financial reporting for ConAm’s nationwide property portfolio.
He is also responsible for providing financial services to ConAm and its affiliates which include refinancing portfolio properties, cash management and investments and maintaining ConAm’s commercial banking and credit relationships.
He is also responsible for the accounting and tax compliance and planning issues associated with ConAm and its investment entities primarily through his working relationship with ConAm’s outside accounting professionals.
Prior to joining ConAm in 1988, Mr. Svatos was the Chief Financial Officer of AmeriStar Financial Corporation, a nationwide mortgage banking firm with annual loan originations in excess of $2 billion. From 1984 to 1986, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Sko-Fed Mortgage Corporation. He began his career in 1980 at Ernst & Whinney in Chicago.
Mr. Svatos holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. |
