Bob s business and capital raising experiences include being half of the 2 man team which rose over $250M in equity capital over 4 rounds of private and venture funding, as well as an extremely successful Goldman Sachs led IPO. During his tenure, Universal Access grew from a 5 person angel funded company, to having a market cap of over $5Billion in less than 5 years. Bob s technical experience ranges from being the co-holder of 2 patents on industry changing databases, provision and online quoting systems as well as carrier grade, multi-carrier, fiber optic network hubs. Recently, Bob was the creative force and architect behind the development of an "On-Demand" web based enterprise telecommunications management software, currently being used by fortune 100 companies. Bob s Sales and Marketing successes include organically growing sales from $0 revenue to a run rate of over $200M in less than 5 years as well as being one of the top 3 sales people for both Cable and Wireless and the metropolitan fiber ring company, Teleport Communications Group earlier in his career. Bob s operational successes include creating a vendor relations strategy which allowed Universal Access to maintain a 30% operating margin throughout the telecom pricing crash.
