Robert is a mechanical engineer with 15 years of engineering experience, the most recent 6 of which have been in the medical devices field. Robert began his medical devices career at Guidant C&VS as a supplier development/manufacturing engineer on the Ancure AAA program. Robert then joined Guidant CTS as a product development engineer and worked in a lead technical role on a variety of off-pump beating heart positioning and stabilization systems. After Guidant acquired AFx, Robert managed Guidant's first generation concomitant microwave ablation platform. Prior to medical devices, Robert served in the Air Force in a variety of technical and project management positions. Robert holds a BSME from Duke University and an MSME from The University of Texas. |
