Mr. Bob Woodward has served as Chairman of The Palmer-Donavin Manufacturing Company since 1997. Bob began his career with Nationwide Insurance, beginning as a mortgage loan underwriter in 1964. He has held the positions of mortgage loan underwriting supervisor (1969-1973), Vice President, Nationwide Realty Advisors and Vice President, Nationwide Real Estate Investors (1973-1975), Vice President, Mortgage Loans (1975-1982), Vice President, Real Estate Investments (1981-1991) and Sr. Vice President, Fixed Income Securities (1991-1995). In 1995 he was named to his current position of Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer.
Mr. Woodward earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Capital University, Bexley, Ohio in 1965 and a Juris Doctorate degree from Capital University Law School in 1971. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Realty Investor Society and has been Director and Chairman of the Board of the Palmer-Donavin Manufacturing Company since 1999. He was previously Director and Vice Chairman of the Board of that company from 1995-1999.
Mr. Woodward is a member of the American Council of Life Insurance CIO Planning Committee and a founding member of the Life Mortgage and Real Estate Officer’s Council. He is also a member of the Franklin County Convention Facilities Authority, the Columbus Area Growth Foundation, Inc., the Jazz Arts Group of Columbus, the Board of Trustees of Capital University and the Regional Port Authority Study Committee. He and his wife Constance have two daughters and five grandchildren. |
