Robert J. Lyons, Jr. is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Bilco Company, a privately-held manufacturing company engaged in the design, fabrication, and sales of horizontal metal access doors and accessories, headquartered in West Haven, Connecticut, with offices in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. He also serves as an officer on the Boards of the Connecticut Hospital Association and the United Way of Greater New Haven, and is Chairman of the Advisory Board of Habitat for Humanity of Greater New Haven. He is a former Chairman of the Board of Gaylord Hospital. Mr. Lyons is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of AICPA and CSCPA.
Mr. Lyons joined the Board of Directors of New Haven Savings Bank in 1992. His term on the NewAlliance Board expires at the 2009 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
