Mr. Lambert (52) joined New Century in March 2005 as Senior Vice President, Leadership and Organizational Development. He has more than 20 years of experience in multiple business disciplines and industries, serving as a senior human resources executive for three publicly traded FORTUNE 500 companies and as a senior partner in two global human resource-consulting firms. Prior to joining New Century, he established and operated his own management consulting practice, R.J. Lambert and Associates. Before that, he was the founding partner of the Southern California office for Christian & Timbers, an international executive search firm. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lambert played an integral role in the $2 billion Carter Hawley Hale post-bankruptcy turnaround as the Executive Vice President of Stores & Operations. He also served as Chief Human Resources Officer for the Stride Rite Corporation and, over a 10-year period, held a variety of senior human resources positions with PepsiCo. Prior to entering the private sector, he served for eight years in the United States Navy flying the A6E Intruder aircraft. Mr. Lambert received a Master's degree in Finance from Webster University and a Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University. |
