Mr. Koshgarian is a graduate of St. Lawrence University and Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1987.
Mr. Koshgarian's practice is concentrated in the areas of employee benefit planning, executive compensation, taxation and real property. He has handled numerous complex retirement and welfare benefit plan matters, including employee stock ownership plan leveraged financing, installation of cafeteria plans and qualification of the firm's regional prototype retirement plans with the Internal Revenue Service. In addition, Mr. Koshgarian has represented individual and corporate taxpayers in both civil audits and criminal investigations before the Internal Revenue Service and New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. He also has considerable experience in advising clients on a variety of commercial, corporate and real property matters.
Mr. Koshgarian is a member of the Albany County and New York State Bar Associations and the American Bar Association (Member, Section on Taxation).
Mr. Koshgarian also is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York and the United States Tax Court. |
