Bob has more than 25 years of experience in the real estate field, including acquisition and management of both equity and debt assets, portfolio management, and hands-on property functions such as land acquisition, master planning, zoning, leasing, sales, property management and construction.
Prior to re-joining RLS, Bob was a Partner with Landmark Partners in Simsbury, Connecticut, and co-manager of the real estate practice, which included four separate real estate funds that acquired net assets valued in excess of $1 billion. Bob was responsible for directing the underwriting, acquisition, and asset management functions. Bob previously served as an Executive Vice President with RLS, where he was responsible for managing project development. Bob spent a total of 10 years with Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company, a $13 billion insurance company that is now part of Mass Mutual. He was appointed Vice President in charge of Connecticut Mutual's real estate equity portfolio and was a member of the investment department's Staff Finance Committee and President of URBCO, Inc., an affiliated real estate development company. Previously, Bob spent seven years with Culbro Land Resources as a Senior Vice President in charge of development. Bob graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Accounting, and from Trinity College with an M.S. in Economics, and is a CPA and a Counselor of Real Estate (CRE).
At RLS, Bob is head of Development and as such coordinates the project management of all assignments. Additionally, as COO of RLS and a member of the company’s Executive Committee, Bob works closely with the CEO and CFO to formulate and administer company policy and direction. |
