Robert H Charron, CPA, is the Chairman of the Board and a partner in the Tax Services Department at Carlin, Charron & Rosen, LLP. He is also a member of the firm's Management & Executive Committees. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Boston University, where he was active in student government, Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and Tau Kappa Epsilon social fraternity. Mr. Charron's areas of professional concentration include income and estate tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, and providing business consulting services to our clients. He has been a certified public accountant since 1972, when he received recognition for attaining the third highest grades in Massachusetts for the uniform certified public accounting examination. Recent service to the community includes a term as president of the Estate and Business Planning Council of Worcester County, a director of the New England Anti-Defamation League and treasurer for Representative Barbara Gardner, the former majority whip of the Massachusetts House of Representatives. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Charron is also Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Crossroads Community Foundation, Corporator of Bay State Savings Bank, and a founder of the Leading Edge Alliance. |
