Mr. McAnnally is a member of the State Governmental Affairs practice group, and has worked on matters before the Alabama legislature and regulatory agencies since 1993. He has worked as a policy advisor and staff member to Alabama governors of both parties and has been involved at the state government level with issues related to economic development, education reform and tax reform. He has testified before numerous legislative and regulatory bodies in Alabama. Mr. McAnnally is also a regular speaker on Alabama politics in Alabama and across the Southeast. In addition to direct contact with governmental agencies, Mr. McAnnally is working with a number of entities focused on issues related to workforce development in Alabama. Prior To Maynard Cooper: Mr. McAnnally served as Chief of Staff to the President of Auburn University.
