As a founder of Lipman Hearne, Bob Lipman is a leading expert in conceiving and guiding marketing and communications programs in support of major fundraising campaigns for nonprofit organizations and a consultant to many of the nation's major philanthropic institutions. For more than 30 years he has worked with institutions across the country as communicator, creative director, graphic designer, and consultant. Bob has provided leadership for identity and public visibility programs, and led the development of public information and advocacy campaigns.Among the hundreds of institutions he has served are the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, Pew Charitable Trusts, Atlantic Philanthropies, Duke University, The University of Chicago, Northwestern University, Rush University Medical Center, the Library of Congress, Ford Foundation, the Smithsonian Institution, RAND Corporation, and The Burnham Institute.A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Bob continued his studies at the Institute of Design at Illinois Institute of Technology, where he later taught graphic design.
