Robert E. Demmett joined Eisner & Lubin in 1984 and became a partner in 1992. Bob has recently been elected by the partners to serve a two year term on the firm's executive committee. He specializes in tax and financial planning for high-net-worth individuals and for partnerships, corporations, and other entities. Bob’s industries of expertise include real estate, financial services, and other service companies. In addition, Bob helps clients with business structure issues, as well as acquisition and disposition of businesses. Bob joined the firm’s proof reading department as a college student. I have been fortunate to grow with the firm, he says. I have had the opportunity to work with some terrific clients and have enjoyed getting the chance to help them realize their business and personal goals. Bob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He served as the chairman of the Corporate Distributions, Liquidations and Reorganizations Committee with the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, he lectures for the Foundation of Accounting Education and is an adjunct professor at Queens College Graduate School of the City University of New York. Bob received his B.B.A. in accounting from Pace University and earned his M.S. in taxation from Baruch College of the City University of New York. He continues his professional education in taxation. Bob has a wife and two children and lives in Long Island. In his spare time, Bob enjoys traveling, spending time with his family and working on his golf game. |
