Bobby Ross is serving North State Bank as senior vice president and senior commercial lender for the bank's flagship North Raleigh office. He has 30 years of banking experience in North Carolina, holding positions with Bank of America, and most recently, as senior vice president and Raleigh city executive for First South Bank. He has held staff and management positions across the state of North Carolina, including: audit and credit in Charlotte; as a commercial banker and branch administrator in Wilmington; as city executive for Tarboro; as a senior credit risk manager in Raleigh and Fayetteville; as a community/consumer bank regional executive covering a region from Henderson to Fayetteville; and, as a senior vice president and commercial bank credit products manager in Raleigh.
He is a past president and campaign chairman for the Edgecombe County United Way, a past president of the Tarboro Area Chamber of Commerce, board member for Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors (TCAR) and a past board member for Education Financing Services, LLC. Bobby was also named the 2006 TCAR Associate of the year.
A native of Mint Hill, NC in Mecklenburg County, Bobby received both his undergraduate degree in accounting and his MBA from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. |
