From Brooke's inception in May 1986 through the present, Robert D. Orr has been Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Brooke. Robert D. Orr concurrently served as Chairman of Brooke State Bank in Jewell, Kansas, from December 1991 to December 1994 and Chief Executive Officer of Farmers State Bank in Phillipsburg, Kansas, from January 1992 to December 1995. Mr. Orr authored the book Death of an Insurance Salesman? which was written and published in 2000. From 1996 through the present, Mr. Orr’s business activities have been focused on performing the functions of Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. |
