Robert C. Sledd is the Chairman of Performance Food Group and has held that position since February 1995. Mr. Sledd was one of the Company's co-founders and has served as director since PFG's inception in 1987. He was the Company's CEO since its inception through 2001 and served as its CEO again from early 2004 until October 2006. He also served as President from 1987 to February 1995.
Mr. Sledd served as President and CEO of Taylor & Sledd Incorporated from 1984 to 1987 and was a Director of that company since 1974. He also serves as a director of SCP Pool Corporation, a supplier of swimming pool supplies and related products. In addition to his business duties, Mr. Sledd believes that an important part of the PFG mission is to support the communities in which we serve.
