Robert C. Lieber is the Deputy Mayor for Economic Development and Rebuilding. Prior to his appointment, he served as President of the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Deputy Mayor Lieber was previously a Managing Director in the Global Real Estate Group at Lehman Brothers. During his 22-year tenure at Lehman Brothers, he was responsible for originating transactions for the Private Equity Real Estate Fund as well as acting as Global Head of Lehman’s Real Estate Investment Banking Group. Deputy Mayor Lieber is Vice Chairman of the Zell-Lurie Real Estate Center at the Wharton School, and Trustee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He holds a BA from the University of Colorado and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. |
