Rob Williams is in the Global Securities Department and has been a partner with Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP since 1992. He joined the firm as an associate in 1983.
Mr. Williams has extensive experience in all aspects of domestic and international capital markets transactions, with particular emphasis on public and 144A/Regulation S debt offerings; domestic and international financings by energy and public utility companies; and financings by banks and real estate investment trusts. Mr. Williams acts as designated underwriters' counsel for numerous issuers in industries ranging from energy to home building and real estate. His expertise also includes liability management transactions, such as debt tender and exchange offers, and capital markets product development.
Mr. Williams is a member of the American Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. He currently serves as Chair of the Corporate Finance Committee of the Public Utility Section of the American Bar Association.
Mr. Williams graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College and received a J.D. from Columbia University Law School in 1983. |
