Experience: Associate, Lehman Brothers, 1953-1961, General Partner, 1962-1971. Mr. Bernhard managed the Investment Management Division of Lehman Brothers and was also on the Boards of the Lehman Corporation and the One William Street Fund. Partner and member of the Executive Committee of Abraham & Co., 1971-1974. General Partner, Salomon Brothers, 1974-1981. Mr. Bernhard's primary responsibilities were in the telecommunications industry and international business development. Co-Chairman, Munn, Bernhard & Associates, 1982-present, a money management firm. Chairman of the Board, Bernhard, Oliva & Associates, LLC, 1994-1997. Mr. Bernhard is currently Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science & Art and a Trustee and Vice Chairman of Montefiore Medical Center. He also sits on the Board of Overseers of the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, and is President and a Trustee of Temple Emanu-El. He is also a Trustee of the Lincoln Center Institute. Mr. Bernhard is also a Director of Stone Energy Corporation and SCP Corporation. |
