Dr. Robert Mundell is the Chairman of the Nominating and Governance Committee. Dr. Mundell is the University Professor of Economics at Columbia University and he has been on the faculty of Columbia University since 1967. He has been an adviser to numerous international agencies and organizations including the United Nations, the IMF, the World Bank, the Government of Canada, several governments in Latin America and Europe, the Federal Reserve Board and the U.S. Treasury. Dr. Mundell holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of British Columbia, a Master's degree from the University of Washington and a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 1999 Dr. Mundell was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics. |
