Robert A. Mowery joined Worthington Industries in September of 2005 as vice president of purchasing. He is responsible for all purchasing efforts across the company including steel commodity and OEM purchasing.
Before joining Worthington Mowery worked at Honda of America Manufacturing Inc. for 18 years in various plant and corporate level purchasing positions encompassing various aspects of the purchasing function. These included progressive purchasing assignments in operations planning and supply chain management. In 2001 he was named to his most recent position of Assistant Vice President of Purchasing North American Logistics with responsibility to integrate cross-company logistical supply chain efforts.
Mowery earned his bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University in marketing management in 1985.
He is married with three children and resides in Dublin Ohio.
