Description of Practice:
Robert Lurie is a partner in the firm's Century City office. His practice focuses on the leasing and on-going management of office, retail, industrial and mixed-use projects throughout California. Mr. Lurie's clients include both institutional investors and entrepreneurial individuals and entities. With extensive expertise in the negotiation and documentation of lease transactions, Mr. Lurie also has significant experience in the analysis of complex legal and business issues raised by previously negotiated lease documentation. In connection with these activities, Mr. Lurie regularly assists clients in developing strategies to resolve disputes, giving due consideration to relevant documentation as well as industry custom and market conditions.
Mr. Lurie is currently a member of the steering committee for the Commercial Development and Leasing Subsection at the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He has previously acted as vice chairman of the Real Property Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, where he organized several real estate programs on its behalf. He is also a member of the Century City and American Bar Associations as well as the State Bar of California.
Educational History:
Mr. Lurie received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (with an emphasis in finance) from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1987, where he graduated as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He received his Juris Doctor from the UCLA School of Law in 1991, where he graduated Order of the Coif. |
